Our promise to you
Anglo American Models puts customer service as paramount. We want you to be delighted with your purchase and we want you to come back to us time and time again.
After receiving your order we process it immediately so that you receive your order as quickly as possible. If the model is in stock it is possible for us to dispatch immediately; if it is a model that needs building, we talk to our suppliers as soon as we have processed your details - as a guideline, there is an average six-month lead time for bespoke models. Whatever the circumstance we will tell you what the situation is so that you know what the time scale is for delivery.
Whether or not we hold the model you require in stock, or if we have to have it made, we apply the same inspection processes. Each model is examined from top to bottom. It is then wrapped in protective material and then encased in a rigid container to ensure that it is delivered to you in the same condition as we dispatched it.
We hope that you will never need to return an item to us, but things happen and we are realistic! Just return the model within 14 days of receipt in the condition you received it. We will make a full refund to you, excluding the delivery charge.
Payment methods
Anglo American Models is registered with PayPal for on-line payments. This is a secure and convenient method for paying for your model and it can speed up dispatch of your model from us, particularly if we hold it in stock. However, we appreciate that people may prefer to pay by cheque or postal order. If you choose this later method, we despatch once funds have cleared and are in our account (depends on availability of the model - we will let you know what the lead time is for delivery).
Postage
We currently use Royal Mail for UK deliveries. This is an insured service, delivering Monday to Thursday each week. The charge currently is £7.40 per item up to 2 kg in weight. Delivery to mainland Europe currently is £16.95. This is also an insured service, delivering Monday to Thursday. For deliveries elsewhere in the world, please first contact administrator@angloamericanmodels.co.uk for the latest prices. Please note that for multiple purchases weighing more than 2 kg, we shall email or telephone you with the costs.
